IR Filters
Which spec of IR filter is the best to use in front of your lamp?
I have found 720nm to 1000nm and have no clue as to which is the better. Can anyone enlighten me?

Re: IR Filters
It depends a lot on what you actually want the illumination for and what you're viewing it through.
The higher the nm number the more covert (invisible) the light source will be, the downside being that the higher the number can mean it doesn't travel as far as an equivalent power illuminator of lower nm rating.
I would think the best bet is to go for around the 800 nanometer mark, which is where most readily available illuminators are.
